PickleMeet is a free web app that runs pickleball open play — it manages the fair queue, calls players to courts, tracks your wins and stats, and lets your community chat and connect, all from your phone.

On the home page, tap “Create a player account”, then enter your name, email, a password, your gender and skill level. You can add an optional nickname and photo later in your profile.

No — PickleMeet runs right in your browser. You can also “install” it to your home screen so it opens like an app, but there is nothing to download from an app store.

Pick the one that fits you best: Beginner (about 2.0–2.5), Novice (2.5–3.0), Low Intermediate (developing consistency), High Intermediate (strong, reliable play), and Advanced (competitive, all-court game). You can change it any time in your profile.

On the player login page, tap “Forgot password?”, enter your email, and we’ll send a reset link from no-reply@picklemeet.net. Open it to set a new password.

Scan the session’s QR code with your phone camera, or tap the check-in button and type the 5-letter session code if your camera won’t scan. You’re then placed in the queue.

The first time you join a session, the organizer gives a quick one-time OK to confirm it’s really you. Once approved, you’re checked in — and you won’t need approval again for that session.

Just open PickleMeet again and look at “My Open Plays” on your home page. Tap the on-going session and you walk straight back in — no need to rescan.

It’s first-come, fair-for-everyone: the players who have waited the longest are called to the next open court. You don’t need to ask anyone — just watch the board for your name.

The organizer picks the mode — from everyone mixing freely, to playing within your own skill level (with a gentle one-step mix), to winners-play-winners / losers-play-losers formats. Games are always kept fair and close to your level.

Your phone buzzes and a pop-up calls you to your court. When the organizer uses “Lock and Notify”, you can tap “I’m on my way” so they know you’re coming.

If you don’t confirm in time you’re marked a no-show and your spot may be given to the next waiting player. Tap “I’m back” whenever you return and you rejoin at the front of the line.

After the match ends, a result pop-up asks who won. Any one of the four players can answer it once — everyone’s stats update from that.

In the session, use “Stack with Friends” to group up as a pair, a group of 3, or a group of 4. Grouped players are kept together in the queue.

When a locked group of 4 is called, you get to pick your 2-vs-2 line-up before the game starts, instead of the app splitting the teams for you.

Yes. For players without phones, the organizer can group people by hand from their dashboard — no approval needed.

It ranks the top 10 players by win percentage, and the podium handles ties fairly so players with the same record share the spot.

Your dashboard shows your games played, wins, losses, and win rate. Tap into your match history to see each game and how your win rate changed.

Yes — use “Add outside games” to log matches you played elsewhere, so your overall stats and Journey reflect all your play.

It’s your pocket coach — a game-like tracker of your levels, skills, missions, badges, and points that grows as you play and improve.

Your full name stays private — other players and organizers see only your display name. You can delete your account and your Journey records any time from Settings.
