Terms of Service
Effective date: July 2026 · This mirrors the terms shown inside the PickleMeet app.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of PickleMeet, a web-based pickleball open-play management platform operated by Technocom in the Philippines and available at openplay.picklemeet.net. Please read them — by using PickleMeet, you agree to them.
Accepting these terms
By creating an account or using PickleMeet, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree with any part of them, please don't use the app.
What PickleMeet provides
- A digital queueing and court-rotation system for pickleball open-play sessions.
- Player accounts with stats tracking, leaderboards, and the My Pickleball Journey feature.
- Community features: session chat, photo sharing, private messaging, Say Hi / connect, and player profiles.
- Organizer tools for managing sessions, rosters, courts, and results.
PickleMeet is currently in beta and offered free of charge. Features may change, be added, or be removed as we keep building it. After the beta, PickleMeet becomes a freemium app — the core stays free, and some functions will require a premium subscription; founding organizers get a 6-month free trial of everything first.
Your account
- Please give accurate information when you sign up.
- You're responsible for keeping your password secure and for activity on your account.
- One account per person — duplicate accounts may be removed.
- You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required where you live).
Acceptable use
To keep the community friendly and safe, you agree that you will not:
- Harass, threaten, or abuse anyone, or post hate speech or spam in chat and community features.
- Impersonate other people or create fake accounts.
- Try to hack, exploit, overload, or interfere with the app or with other players' accounts.
- Use the service for competitive analysis or intelligence. This includes accessing the app, its features, documentation, or AI assistant to build, improve, or inform a competing product or service; scraping, copying, or systematically extracting the app's content, workflows, or data; and attempting to reverse-engineer, probe, or discover the app's underlying design, algorithms, or technology. Accounts created for these purposes may be suspended or deleted without notice, and PickleMeet reserves all legal remedies.
Rant messages, complaints about the venue, session, or app, and foul language in session chatboxes are automatically removed — please use Customer Support or speak with an organizer instead. PickleMeet may warn, suspend, or delete accounts that break these rules.
Your content
- You own the content you post — your messages, photos, and profile information.
- By posting, you grant PickleMeet a limited licence to display that content within the app (for example, showing your chat messages to other players, and your photos in session chats and event recaps).
- Photos shared in a session's chat are automatically deleted 15 days after the session ends.
- We may remove content that breaks the acceptable-use rules above.
Privacy
We handle your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy. Your display name (not your full name) is shown publicly on leaderboards, rosters, and in chat.
Payments
PickleMeet does not process payments or handle any financial data. The payment-mode selector at check-in simply records which method you used to pay the organizer directly (GCash, Maya, Bank, or Cash) — it is a label only, not a transaction. Any session fees are strictly between you and the organizer or club.
Disclaimers
- PickleMeet is provided "as is" during beta. We work hard to keep it running smoothly but can't guarantee it will always be uninterrupted or error-free.
- PickleMeet is a queueing and community tool. It does not provide medical, legal, or professional coaching advice, and the My Pickleball Journey skill guide is a personal-growth estimate, not an official rating.
- PickleMeet is not responsible for injuries, disputes, or incidents that happen during open-play sessions at any venue.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account any time under Settings → Delete Account. This permanently removes your profile, personal data, and Journey records. PickleMeet may also remove accounts that break these Terms.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms as the app develops. We'll change the effective date at the top when we do, and continuing to use PickleMeet afterwards means you accept the updated Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, including the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) and the Electronic Commerce Act (Republic Act No. 8792).
